Why is it that when I travel, there is no traffic on the road and everyone seems to be driving around, but when I am not traveling, the roads are crowded with cars and people? Is it because they believe that cars do not need traffic lights, or because the roads are the wrong size?

Today, the world's commerce is conducted using roads and railways. In fact, when you go abroad, the roads tend to be just as congested as in the cities you live in. This is why almost all cities throughout the world, including New York, Paris, London, and Tokyo, have developed elaborate traffic signals, as well as crosswalks, which help in alleviating congestion.
For instance, in America, a lot of drivers complain about the traffic lights which do not even come to a complete stop, while many passengers complain about the traffic signals which don't actually tell the driver what to do and if he is going too fast, he gets a ticket. The result is that if the drivers want to avoid tickets, then they ought to slow down and get around the traffic lights, and if they do not want tickets, then they ought to slow down and let the traffic lights figure out the best way to handle the traffic flow.
To help with the traffic on the roads, there are a lot of traffic cameras, which look for violations, such as speeding, running red lights, and driving too slowly. All these traffic violations will cause a fine and a few points on your driving record, but you can't stop at just one or two points.
Even with all the traffic lights installed and all the traffic cameras, it can still be quite difficult to know exactly where to go on the road and when you should stop. This is why it is important to know where the road ends and the road begins, because all traffic laws apply to every person, irrespective of whether they are a student or a professional, and there is no traffic light law that allows someone to speed along and start having accidents. When I travel through Europe, I see a lot of people who take the train from one city to another, like Rome, Vienna, Prague, or Brussels, which is quite understandable, because they can travel at least three times as fast as cars could travel. However, when they get to the city of their choice, they simply go through the rush-hour traffic as well as the night traffic and end up in traffic jams. Why?
Travelers really don't need to move at high speeds all the time. After all, in many areas of the world, the speed limit is zero, so no need to be moving at that kind of speed all the time. Furthermore, if we consider how many people are traveling, then the time when a traveler would travel at high speeds, is very minimal, whereas the time when he needs to move slower is enormous.
For example, if you have a family, then you have to make sure that you are traveling to several cities rather than traveling long ways only to travel to one city. Traveling on a road, you may have the opportunity to simply head towards a destination and once you arrive there, you may have to get back in a short period of time. But, when you travel by train, you simply have to sit on a train for a long time, then get off, and then head home.
However, there is one thing which is necessary for travel; and that is to stop the train for safety reasons. It's quite impossible to get the car and leave the car in a designated area at any point in time. So, for this reason, we need to follow some laws in order to make the travel safe.
For instance, if you are traveling from A to B, then there are traffic lights there, and if you have to go past the lights, then you must wait for a short period of time, after which you can proceed through the light. Likewise, if you are traveling from A to B, then there are vehicles on the road, so you must slow down and stop.
These are just some of the basic traffic laws, but they are certainly a necessity to ensure the safety of traveling and that everybody can get on the road safely. We really need to take action now, if we want to save the world from extinction. global warming, and climate change.
